This is the 40th Solo Exhibition Amanda has presented since 1989.
It presents life’s small pleasures like the seasons, pets, reading, seeing new places, looking at beauty, having fun, being in awe and generally finding the world the very interesting and nice place that it can be.
All works are studio paintings, not en plein air. They all represent situations I have experienced and places I have visited and hopefully they will resonate with you and give you thoughts of ‘ah, yes, I know that place’ or ‘ah, yes, I know what
this feels like’.
I hope the paintings in this ‘Windows of Life’ Exhibition are similar to your own windows of life’s experiences. The paintings are a variety of mediums including oil, watercolour and pastel.
* Also available are a limited number of teaching books and a book of poems with illustrations called “Trouble & Plums”.
